BHAdvanced Sear Spring Type 1 (Optimized)
FN/Browning OEM Sear Springs have a service life reputation of approximately 40 years. BHSpringSolutions recommends replacement of Sear Spring in ALL Hi-Powers every 25-30. 1. Much Improved (Easier) Install/Uninstall Sear Spring. Installs and Uninstalls with only removal of grip panels required (None of the Fire Control Group in the rear portion of the frame needs to be disassembled to uninstall or install BHAdvanced Sear Springs for Hi-Powers).
2. BHAdvanced Hi-Power Sear Spring Type 1 (Optimized): 85% strength of a Browning OEM Factory Hi-Power Sear Spring – STRICTLY for use with Type II Sear Lever Hi-Power Models and Type 1 Sear Lever Models that have installed a BHAdvanced Type 1 Safety Sear Lever w/ Spring.
3. Lighter/Cleaner Trigger Break: Upon determining that user does have a “Type 2 Sear Lever Hi-Power Model” or does have installed a BHAdvanced Type 1 Sear Lever w/ Spring, installing the BHAdvanced Sear Spring Type 1 (Optimized) may be chosen and typically reduces Trigger Break Weight by 3/4 – 1 lb.
4. BHAdvanced Sear Springs are made from slightly heavier gauge spring steel than the Original Browning OEM Factory Sear Spring or previous like-kind Sear Springs made by RDIH – the benefit is better shape retention of the spring and longer spring service life.
