I got this as a freebie when I ordered the slide release. It installed easily and makes dropping the mag so much easier – most mag catches are horribly over sprung. You could probably get the same result by just replacing the spring but this does offer the ambi option. The ambi function is so-so – the mag doesn’t drop nearly as easily but is doable. A nice addition – especially when free.
